It's such a small change - from a round shape to a square one - but it allows for more charge to be captured during the day.
People who have used them say they do stay lit for a long time but the manufacturer says they have a max 15 hour run time which I find a bit surprising.
I suppose that's possible as I have a different set of roses with a smaller panel that run about 8 hours.
These come as a set of two and each stake has four, large roses which I consider a bonus because so many have only 2-3.
One stake has all white flowers that rotate slowly through seven colors at night. The other has all deep red roses and while they also change color the petals are so dark that you can't really tell. It's still pretty but I just don't want you to be surprised when you see them.
Each light is 26 inches tall from top to bottom and about 12 of that is for the ground stake so they sit above the ground by about 14 inches.
