The figures themselves are 9.5 and 11 inches tall. It must be the stovepipe hat that makes up the difference.
They're made of painted metal and the bodies are flat so you'd want to place them facing out or at a slight angle if you're going to put them at the corners of the entryway to your house.
The detail is really cute. Frosty has a green scarf and a carrot nose while Santa has red sleeves that end with black mittens.
Each also has a wrapped present and Christmas tree attached to their frames.
The stakes are about 23 inches tall and forked at the end. You only need to plant them up to the top of that fork . This will leave the two lights sitting about a foot and a half above the ground so they'll be more easily visible.
The snowflakes in the center are plastic and emit cool, white light from the inside.
The solar panels are attached to the stakes.
