The petals are made of waterproof fabric. The base of the stake is metal while the top half is wrapped in green plastic to resemble the stem.
Each is 30 inches tall from the tip of the stake to the top flower. Once you put them in they'll stand about 15 inches above the ground.
They come with a rechargeable battery in the solar panel and run for about 6-8 hours.
They light up from the center so that's the part that's brightest at night. The outer petals have just a soft glow.
This is one of my favorite flowers so I have one of these sitting at the corner of my patio so I can see it from our sitting area.

I've had these for about 5 months now and they're just as good today as when they were new. There's been no fading and no loss of petals.
They even have plastic thorns on the stems but they're not too sharp.
